About Keaton Ryon
Keaton Ryon is based in San Diego. Drawn to the margins where science, myth, and imagination meet, Keaton's work often follows questions that resist easy answers, ideas that live just beyond orthodoxy where the unknown presses hardest against the known.
Keaton's debut book, Abyssal Sapience, is a work of speculative nonfiction exploring deep time, hidden minds, and the oceanic unknown. It weaves cognitive science, ancient myth, and philosophical inquiry into a meditation on what it means to encounter intelligence beyond the human.
Future projects will continue to cross genres, spanning speculative nonfiction, fiction, and hybrid forms. All are united by a fascination with the strange, the hidden, and the transformative.
